Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: Feb 4, 2026

Misch Implant & Aesthetic Dentistry is committed to ensuring that our website and our physical office are accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. We believe that every patient and visitor deserves equal access to our services, information, and facilities.

Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

We strive to ensure that our website at https://drmisch.com meets or exceeds the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are widely recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility.

Our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve accessibility include:

  • Structuring our pages with clear headings, labels, and logical reading order
  • Providing descriptive alt text for meaningful images
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and background elements
  • Designing pages that are navigable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse
  • Ensuring forms include clear labels and instructions
  • Using legible fonts and scalable text that can be resized without loss of content
  • Providing captions or transcripts for video content where available
  • Building responsive pages that adapt to different screen sizes and devices
  • Testing our Site with assistive technologies including screen readers

Known Limitations

While we work to make every part of our Site accessible, some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party embedded content: Certain elements such as Google Maps, YouTube videos, and third-party review widgets are hosted by external providers and may not fully conform to accessibility standards. We have limited control over these elements but select providers that demonstrate a commitment to accessibility.
  • PDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully optimized for screen readers. We are working to remediate these files. If you need the content of any PDF in an alternative format, please contact us.
  • Legacy content: Older content published before our current accessibility standards may contain elements that have not yet been updated.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve the accessibility of our Site on an ongoing basis.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser-based accessibility tools and extensions

For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your preferred web browser.
